Duties & Responsibilities
Set up and operate spray equipment to coat with primers and other industrial coatings including powder coating. Clean and prepare parts for coating process, including masking and sandblasting. Apply industrial coating, including powder coating. Working in a spray booth environment operating paint and powder coat equipment. Measure the thickness of applied coating materials. Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas. Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED. 1-2 years experience in a production manual powder coating environment. Comparable experience, such as auto body painting, will be considered. Ability to interpret and understand customer drawings and specifications. Experience working within the plastics industry in a plant setting is preferred. Experience coating with Teflon, Nylon, Halar, and Polyethelyne is a plus. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to read, write and communicate in English. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to read part drawings is a plus. Canditates must be able to lift, push, pull and carry 50lbs. May have to squat or bend frequently and stand for extended periods. Compensation
