This range is provided by California Correctional Health Care Services. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Base pay range Notes: Effective July 1, 2025, in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit 19 and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by 3 percent and will receive 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes. Part-time employees are subject to the same conditions as full-time employees, on a prorated basis equivalent to their time-base. Permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same condition as full-time employees, based on the number of hours worked in the pay period. Job Description And Duties Under the general direction of the Sr. Psychologist, Supv/Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker I, the Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) works in Mental Health Services. The MFT diagnoses and treats mental and emotional disorders within the context of marriage, couples and family systems, the scope of the applicable Business and Professions Code(s), and license. Incumbents shall refer incarcerated patients to other licensed health care professionals in accordance with standardized procedures. Education: Completion of a master's degree program from an accredited school for Marriage and Family Therapy, that meets the requirements stipulated in Business and Professional Code 4980.36. Licensure: Possession of a valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
