SHR Talent has partnered with a regional CPA Firm based in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and Gainesville, FL in its search for an experienced Tax Staff. The Tax Staff opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals who are detail-oriented, client-focused, and eager to grow their careers in tax services. As the Tax Staff, you will play a vital role in preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, assisting with tax planning strategies, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. The Tax Staff position offers the chance to work with a collaborative team of Certified Public Accountants while building strong client relationships in a professional and supportive environment. An ideal candidate for the Tax Staff opportunity will possess excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members and will be detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Responsibilities

Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts Assist in developing and implementing effective tax planning strategies for clients Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide technical support to senior staff and managers Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax laws, regulations, and industry trends Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of client deliverables Support audits and respond to inquiries from federal and state tax authorities Assist in client communications, providing excellent customer service and professional guidance Contribute to process improvements and identify opportunities for increased efficiency in tax preparation Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, required Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or active CPA candidacy, preferred 2 – 3 years of public accounting or tax preparation experience, required Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations Proficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite Seniority level
