Job Description: The
Finance Specialist (Financial Planning Analyst)
plays a key role in supporting the creation and execution of high-quality financial plans. You will manage data entry, coordinate workflows, ensure accuracy across planning platforms, and bridge communication between advisors and consultants. The role also includes support for advisor onboarding, process improvements, and the creation of planning deliverables to enhance client outcomes. The Team: As part of the Wealth Management team, you will work alongside passionate experts in Product, Financial Planning, Practice Management, Lending & Banking, Trust, Investments, and Operations. The group’s focus is to deliver capabilities, services, and tools to advisors and clients that drive impactful outcomes and business growth. Key Responsibilities: Enter client data into planning software such as eMoney, Right Capital, and Money Guide Elite
Support plan analysis, plan design, and client strategy development
Manage workflow between advisors, planners, and consultants to ensure timely plan delivery
Track and prepare correspondence on financial plan progress
Follow up on planning activity and annual renewals; resolve NIGO (Not-in-Good-Order) issues
Research workflow solutions for software and planning processes; make recommendations
Design and organize presentation materials
Keep consultants and team members informed of deliverables and deadlines
Ensure smooth business operations with a continuous improvement mindset
Promote the firm’s consultative approach known as the Financial Way
Help advisors run more efficient and profitable planning practices
Work Schedule: Hybrid work model
Required to work from Springfield or Boston, MA office (3 days in-office per week)
Minimum Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in financial services
Active Series 7 license at the time of application
Series 63 (or equivalent) or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire
Ideal Qualifications: Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Experience with financial planning software (e.g., eMoney)
Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and digital platforms
Strong independent research skills and ability to apply new information quickly
Team-oriented with a collaborative and proactive work style
Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
Accuracy and attention to detail in all deliverables
