Job Summary The
Financial Planning Analyst
plays a vital role in supporting the creation and execution of high-quality financial plans. This position manages data entry, coordinates workflows, and ensures accuracy across planning software platforms, serving as a key connection between advisors and consultants. The Analyst also contributes to onboarding, process improvement, and the creation of deliverables that enhance client outcomes and advisor efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Input client data into financial planning software such as
eMoney ,
RightCapital , and
MoneyGuide Elite .
Assist team members with plan analysis, design, and development to help clients achieve their goals.
Coordinate workflow between advisors, planners, and consultants to ensure timely and accurate delivery of plans.
Track plan progress, prepare communications, and follow up with advisors on renewals or outstanding issues.
Proactively resolve NIGO (Not-in-Good-Order) items and maintain process documentation.
Research and recommend new workflow or planning software solutions.
Create and organize presentation materials for internal and client use.
Support consultants with updates on priorities, responsibilities, and key deadlines.
Contribute to process improvements that enhance advisor productivity and client satisfaction.
Promote a
consultative approach
consistent with the Financial Way and organizational best practices.
Required Experience
Minimum 1+ years of experience in
financial services .
Active
Series 7 license
at the time of application.
Series 63 or equivalent license
(or ability to obtain within 180 days).
Proven
mastery of eMoney
and ability to perform accurate, high-volume data entry.
Nice-to-Have Experience
Prior experience supporting
wealth management
or
financial planning
teams.
Familiarity with
RightCapital
or
MoneyGuide Elite
software.
Experience collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams in wealth management or financial planning.
Required Skills
