About Alvarez & Marsal Our Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice serves upper middle market and large-cap private equity firms, focusing on improving operational results at portfolio companies, typically valued between $50 million and over $1 billion. Our services include: CDD/Strategy Interim Management Merger Integration & Carve-outs IT Rapid Results Supply Chain CFO Services Role Overview This is an excellent opportunity to join A&M PEPI’s MI&C team, developing operational skills through involvement in large, complex deals across the US. The team applies structured approaches to create and capture value during mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, joint ventures, and alliances, supporting the full deal lifecycle from pre-deal reviews to post-close execution. As a Manager, responsibilities include leading workstreams, providing service excellence, and developing client solutions related to Day 1 planning, integration, and performance improvement. The role offers significant career growth, international exposure, and leadership development opportunities. Qualifications 5-8+ years of consulting experience in merger integration, business transformation, or change management. Experience leading work streams in business transformation projects. Deep expertise in finance, HR, operations, or related fields. MBA preferred. Excellent communication, initiative, and critical thinking skills. Willingness to travel up to 75%.
