Overview
Founding Account Executive at TechTree. Our client is an AI Tools company founded in 2023, currently in the seed stage with a company size of 11-50 employees. This is an immediate, high-priority hire. You will work with founders to scale revenue, selling to startups through to enterprise, requiring technical aptitude and a proven closing ability. Responsibilities
Lead outbound sales and discovery, manage high-volume call loads (10+ calls per day), and close deals quickly. Sell to startups, mid-market, and enterprise accounts; often merge discovery and pitching into a single call. Collaborate with the founding team on GTM strategy, test new markets, and continuously improve the sales motion. Learn the technical product quickly and tailor pitches to each buyer; operate in a fast-paced, early-stage environment. Qualifications
4-5+ years of experience as an Account Executive; track record as a top performer (quota attainment, leaderboard rankings). Experience selling APIs/technical products. Comfortable with 10+ calls per day; high-volume outbound experience. Strong technical background or exceptional academic achievement. Start-up/unicorn experience at Seed to Series C company preferred. Technical aptitude, intellectual curiosity, and a consultative approach with the ability to learn and synthesize complex products quickly; ability to close deals. Benefits
Base salary: $250,000 - $350,000 per year. Equity: 0.15% - 0.25%. OTE: $400,000+ (uncapped commission). In-person culture with high visibility in NYC startup ecosystem. Opportunity to build the sales function from scratch at a profitable, high-growth AI infra startup. Work directly with the founding team and influence GTM strategy. Salary and Equity
