This role requires active TS/SCI with polygraph, and entails building, operating, and expanding security services with a DevOps model. At Amazon, security is a top priority. We design authentication, authorization, and enforcement services used across diverse internal teams as they build and deliver services for customers. We seek engineers who think creatively, problem-solve at scale, and iterate quickly to delight our customers. Key responsibilities

Build, deploy, and maintain security services used internally to support the US intelligence community. Mentor other Systems and Systems Development Engineers in their career growth. Work backwards from the customer to ensure services meet end-user needs. Join an established, rapidly growing DevOps engineering team maintaining an existing security service while expanding deployment, features, and capabilities for new initiatives. Participate in an on-call rotation every few months as part of a DevOps culture. About the team

Cloud+ or GICSP or GSEC or SSCP 3+ years of systems administration experience (Linux/Windows) 2+ years networking experience (TCP/IP) Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Shell, Python, etc.) Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph Preferred Qualifications

Experience creating and improving documentation, runbooks, and automation for operations Familiarity with security policies, information handling, and compliance standards Mentoring/training other engineers on technical topics Proficiency in scripting/coding for automation and operational tasks CompTIA Security+ Compensation and eligibility
