CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. The role requires a passion for evolving technology, collaboration, and delivering state-of-the-art capabilities. The Business Systems Analyst examines data, processes, and systems to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, productivity, and profitability. They analyze business needs, recommend solutions, and collaborate with various teams to implement changes that help the organization achieve its goals. This position is located in our Arlington, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Your future duties and responsibilities Gathering and Analyzing Requirements: Business analysts collect and analyze data to understand business needs and requirements, often through interviews, surveys, and document analysis. Documenting Requirements: They create detailed documentation, such as business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases, to clearly outline the needs of the project. Process Analysis and Improvement: They analyze existing business processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Solution Development: Business analysts work with stakeholders to define and propose solutions that address identified needs and align with business objectives. Collaboration and Communication: They facilitate communication between business stakeholders, IT teams, and other relevant parties to ensure everyone is aligned and working towards the same goals. Testing and Implementation Support: They participate in testing new systems and processes to ensure they meet the defined requirements and provide support during implementation. Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree and/or 0 to 2 years of experience Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI with Poly; active TS/SCI with Poly highly desired Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and convey technical information Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to identify problems, analyze root causes, and develop effective solutions Technical Skills: Understanding of business systems, data analysis tools, and relevant technologies Interpersonal Skills: The ability to build relationships, collaborate effectively, and influence stakeholders CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support merit-based rewards, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $61,900.00 - $150,800.00.
