Position Description This position is located in USA VA Arlington, hybrid working model acceptable. Active TS/SCI required, active TS/SCI with Poly highly desired. CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Data Scientist within our Intel sector, advancing the national security mission through cutting-edge technology. We are seeking individuals with a passion for keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology advancements and leveraging their knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities. The Data Scientist analyzes data to extract insights and develop solutions for business challenges, often involving machine learning and statistical modeling. They work with large datasets, build predictive models, and communicate findings to stakeholders. Their work bridges the gap between technical analysis and business strategy.

Responsibilities

Gather data from various sources, clean and transform it for analysis.

Identify trends, patterns, and insights within datasets.

Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and compelling visualizations and reports.

Work with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and business analysts.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 to 8 years of experience.

Active TS/SCI required, active TS/SCI with Poly highly desired.

Proficiency in programming languages like Python and R, experience with data manipulation and analysis tools, machine learning frameworks, and statistical modeling techniques.

Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.

Ability to translate business problems into analytical tasks and develop data-driven solutions.

Understanding of business objectives and the ability to align data analysis with strategic goals.

Compensation A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $160,000 - $180,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
