Our client, a Series B-funded payments business, is seeking a motivated Solutions Engineer to join their team. You’ll work directly with strategic partners to understand their needs, align solutions to their goals, and guide implementations from pre-sales through post-launch—helping their client scale their innovative payments solutions and drive growth. Backed by major names in finance, they’re expanding rapidly. Location: New York, Hybrid. Salary: $140,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr. This range is provided by Storm2. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for partners, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication Conduct needs analyses to understand partners’ business objectives and challenges Identify opportunities to drive value using the company’s embedded financing platform Collaborate with solution architects, product managers, and engineering teams to design scalable solutions Translate business and technical requirements into functional designs and specifications Ensure seamless integration of the platform with partners’ existing systems Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field 2+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Technical Product Manager, or Project Manager, ideally in payments, working closely with merchants and banks Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, APIs, cloud services, web technologies, and system integration Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Familiarity with fintech, POS systems, or e-commerce platforms Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within cross-functional teams Willingness to travel occasionally for partner meetings or industry events Seniority level
