About the role
Hands-on leader to own end-to-end revenue cycle in a Women’s Health practice. Optimize workflows, reduce denials and A/R, produce monthly RCM dashboards, and support payer performance reviews/contract discussions. Systems: Kareo/Tebra and PracticeFusion. What you’ll do
Lead charge capture, scrubbing, claims, posting, refunds, statements, and collections Drive denial prevention/resolution and A/R reduction (insurance + patient) Build monthly RCM dashboards and payer scorecards; identify underpayments Mentor staff and collaborate with front desk/clinicians Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation What you bring
5–7+ years progressive RCM experience; 2+ years lead/supervisor/manager preferred Strong CPT/ICD-10, modifiers, Medicare/Medicaid MCOs, Tricare, and commercial expertise Kareo/Tebra and PracticeFusion experience strongly preferred Advanced Excel/reporting skills; clearinghouse familiarity (Availity) Excellent communication; detail-driven; process-oriented Compensation
Philosophy: Most hires start in the middle of the range based on scope and demonstrated KPI impact; higher offers are reserved for candidates with recent, documented RCM turnarounds. 90-day performance review with potential pay adjustment. Leveling: Hiring for Billing Manager; may hire at Supervisor level depending on experience. Pay: Target hiring range $25–$31/hr; increases or bonuses considered for candidates with documented KPI turnarounds and payer strategy experience.
