Assistant, Associate or Professor in Plastic Surgery - Hand
The Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Kentucky, College of Medicine is seeking a full-time Hand and microvascular surgeon to join its academic faculty. All ranks will be considered. The faculty member will have the opportunity to teach residents, engage in research, and participate in clinical program development. Specific area of focus will primarily be Hand Surgery, but micro-breast reconstruction, lymphedema surgery, oncologic and traumatic reconstruction, and an aesthetic practice will also be available for the faculty member. All candidates must have completed a Hand Fellowship with eligibility for the Subspecialty Certificate in Surgery of the Hand (SOTH) and be either ABPS board certified or in the process of certification. We offer an academic career in an environment that promotes professional excellence. The ideal candidate will be board certified and possess superior technical skills. Research is an important component of our Division, with peer-reviewed funding and over 20 major publications last year alone.
