The Sourcing Initiatives Leader is responsible for collecting and monitoring critical supplier capacity, launching corrective actions using Lean methodologies, and leveraging own experiences to improve Supplier On Time Delivery at site level. This role will also be responsible for leading and coordinating Dual Source actions, ensuring successful part validation efforts. In addition, this role will drive continuous improvement projects within the Sourcing and closely related teams, ensuring teams are able to quickly and efficiently support production requirements. This role requires comprehensive in-depth understanding of purchasing and sourcing concepts and principles, in addition to demonstrated experience leading continuous improvement projects, in order to help drive supplier performance. Roles and Responsibilities
Use Lean Methodologies to capture and monitor supplier capacity and support Capacity Securitization and OTD improvement at key vendors at site level, work with responsible site KCM to ensure outcomes are aligned to overall sourcing strategy Act as a liaison between Sourcing, R&D, Supplier Quality, Incoming QA, Materials, and Inventory to ensure parts flow smoothly through Qualification Process (Receipt, FAI Inspection, Phase II testing, and Release to Active Stock) in a timely manner Lead Dual Source Initiatives at site level; tracking status of dual source actions and coordinating with R&D to ensure test objects are available Responsible for maintaining and creating new PIRs, as well as allocation, source list and MOQ. Manage and update vendor master. Create Scheduling, Stocking, Quantity contract Agreements and updating SAP; and corresponding Contract Repository Responsible for developing comprehensive training plan and skills matrix, aligning development of team in relation to sourcing strategy Train /Educate site Sourcing and Materials team on Lean fundamentals and methodologies Develop and implement tools for Sourcing team to improve efficiencies and identify actions Analyze and make recommendations to the procurement and sourcing processes, work closely with key stakeholders to ensure mutually beneficial improvements are implemented and sustained Develop and implement standard work/SOPs to align best practices with daily sourcing tasks. Seek out improvements to overall sourcing process to reduce inefficiencies Up to 30% travel within the United States. Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years in Sourcing, Commodity Management experience or Manufacturing experience. A bachelor\'s degree from an accredited university or college. Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Establish project management skills. Minimum 1 year reading component blueprints Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables Six sigma green belt or better. The base pay range for this position is $82,900.00 - $95,000.00 annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate\'s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 11/3/25. The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
