Overview CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) has been retained by an international manufacturing client to hire an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function for their US entities totaling about $30M in revenue. The US business is primarily a sales and distribution office with no manufacturing taking place in the United States. This is a hybrid position with the opportunity to work remotely 2-3 days a week after a period of time.

Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Location Bloomington, MN (hybrid: 2-3 days remote after an initial period).

Responsibilities

Oversee the full general ledger and month-end close process for multiple entities

Manage financial consolidations, intercompany transactions, and reporting across domestic and international entities

Maintain and improve accounting processes in compliance with GAAP

Produce timely, accurate financial statements and variance analysis reports

Lead preparation and review of annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections

Lead financial due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition accounting

Partner with executive leadership to model financial impact and cost synergies of transactions

Ensure proper accounting treatment for asset acquisitions, goodwill, and restructuring activities

Compliance & Tax

Ensure ongoing compliance with state, federal, international, and industry-specific regulations

Manage sales and use tax reporting and filings

Work closely with external CPA firms to support year-end audits and corporate tax filings

Supervise and mentor accounting staff, promoting accountability and development

Collaborate across departments to provide financial insights and support operational goals

Serve as a key advisor to senior management on financial strategy, risks, and controls

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

Proven experience managing multi-entity accounting structures

Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards
