Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Controller to lead our financial operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on financial professional with a strong background in manufacturing and international business operations. The Senior Controller will oversee accounting functions, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and support global financial consolidation, reporting, and planning. This position will be located in our Castle Hayne, NC plant. Compensation

Base pay range: $145,000.00/yr - $155,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of financial accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, cost accounting, and payroll. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes; prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS. Oversee inventory and cost accounting processes to ensure accurate product costing and margin analysis. Partner with operations to optimize manufacturing costs and efficiency through financial analysis and KPIs. Coordinate international accounting activities and intercompany transactions across multiple entities and currencies. Ensure compliance with local, federal, and international financial regulations, including tax and audit requirements. Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital planning. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure operational efficiency. Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking institutions. Mentor and develop accounting team members; establish a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or CMA required 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years in a Controller or similar leadership role. Strong experience in manufacturing environments, including cost accounting, inventory management, and plant operations. Experience working with international subsidiaries or global companies, including multi-currency consolidations. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills. Deep knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to lead and collaborate across functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications
