Overview
Outside Sales Account Manager in Piscataway, NJ (Open). Location: Piscataway, NJ - Retail shop. Airgas is hiring for an Outside Sales Account Manager in Piscataway, NJ. We are committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Responsibilities
Develops and executes sales plans to service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts; qualify and pursue sales leads. Cultivates customer relationships by understanding the customer's business and maintaining a consultative relationship. Engages customers by linking their business priorities to the Airgas value proposition. Prepares sales proposals, quotes pricing, establishes credit terms, and estimates delivery dates based on production and logistics. Keeps current with industry insights, Airgas product mixes, and monitors competition. Partners with internal resources to achieve growth objectives and maintains clear communication with internal departments. Maintains and submits sales reports as required (daily call reports, weekly work plans, monthly/annual territory analyses). Manages existing customer Accounts Receivable balances to minimize working capital investment and financial risk. Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Proven consultative sales experience with multi-layer value offerings. Knowledge of customer's business, market trends, and opportunity identification. Strong organizational, written and oral communication, and presentation skills with current technology. Self-starter, motivated, able to work independently with urgency. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, required liability insurance. Minimum of 3 years of outside B2B sales experience including solution-selling and territory management. Familiarity with industrial and specialty gases; industrial gas/welding supply sales a plus. Benefits
