Overview
Outside Sales Account Manager (Open) – Location: Williamsport, PA; Hazle Township, PA retail shops. Territory: Williamsport/State College PA. Airgas is hiring for an Outside Sales Account Manager in Williamsport/State College PA Territory. We are looking for you! Responsibilities
Develops and executes sales plans utilizing Airgas\' sales directives to service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts. Qualifies and pursues sales leads. Cultivates customer relationships by developing a deep knowledge of the customer\'s business and establishing a consultative relationship. Engages customers by linking the customer\'s business priorities to the Airgas value proposition. Prepares sales proposals by quoting pricing, establishing credit terms, and estimating delivery dates based on Airgas\' production/delivery schedules and logistics. Keeps current with industry insights and Airgas product mixes; monitors competition by gathering marketplace intelligence on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques. Partners with internal resources to accomplish growth objectives and maintains clear communication with internal departments regarding customer successes, opportunities, developments, and information. Maintains and submits sales reports (daily call reports, weekly work plans, monthly and annual territory analyses) as required by District Manager through SAP. Actively reviews and manages existing customer accounts receivable to minimize Airgas working capital investment and financial risk. Required Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent work experience. Proven success using a consultative sales approach to provide multiple layers of value and establish a mix of sales solutions and products. Proven ability to leverage knowledge of customer\'s business, macro/microeconomic trends, industry trends, and opportunities. Excellent organizational, written and oral communication, and presentation skills using current technology. Self-starter with urgency; able to work independently. Reliable transportation, valid driver\'s license, and minimum liability insurance as required by state. Minimum of 3 years of outside B2B sales experience, including solution-selling concepts and managing customers in a defined territory. Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with industrial and specialty gases; industrial gas/welding supply sales a plus. Benefits
