Overview
We are working with a private real estate, construction, and asset management firm that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing finance team. The Senior Accountant will provide leadership in accounting operations while also supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role is a blend of hands-on accounting and higher-level strategic support, offering broad exposure across multiple entities in a dynamic real estate and construction environment. Responsibilities
Maintain accurate general ledger records for multiple entities in compliance with GAAP. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Lead annual financial audit preparation and liaise with external auditors. Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and revenue review. Develop, document, and enhance accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls. Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis. Oversee billing and revenue recognition processes. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting;
CPA preferred but not required . 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within
real estate, construction, or multi-entity accounting . Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes. Proficiency in
Excel and Microsoft Office Suite ; ERP/accounting system experience preferred. Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in both collaborative and independent settings. Team & Growth

Controller , with exposure to senior leadership. Opportunity to work across
