Educational/Vocational Specialist, Youth Community Program

— Part-Time, 20 hours per week. Schedule: Mon - Fri, afternoons required. Location: Brockton, MA. Local travel required: Yes. Program: PACT-Y. Program type: Community based, youth in-home. Salary: $22,500. This role is with Community Counseling of Bristol County (CCBC), a non-profit community mental health center serving 50 communities in Massachusetts. CCBC is building an amazing team to expand access to evidence-based behavioral health treatments in schools, homes, the community, and our Taunton offices. We provide inpatient, outpatient, and urgent care services to adults and children addressing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, substance use, and related conditions. Provide a full range of educational and vocational services Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support treatment, educational and vocational goals Teach and assist with job-seeking efforts such as resume writing and interview skills Assist youth in identifying vocational and educational strengths and goals, and understand how mental health symptoms impact work and learning Provide training to other team members to help integrate interventions and support vocational/educational goals Make appropriate referrals for testing, benefits, or other areas included in the treatment plan Coordinate care with families, team, providers and DMH Complete required documentation per program guidelines Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, education, or a related field Experience working with children, youth, and families with mental health challenges Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Willingness to learn and seek guidance as needed Strong organizational, verbal, written, and computer skills Experience working with schools is preferred but not required How to apply: Send Resume & Cover Letter.
