Schedule:
40 hours, Sunday-Wednesday, 10AM-8:30PM. Essential position during weather and other emergencies. Pay:
$71,000 annually DOE. This position carries a retention payment of $3,000: $1,000 payable at 12 months, and $2,000 at 24 months. Location:
444 Harrison Ave, Boston, MA. This position is on-site; remote work is not available. Position Overview
The Shelter Stabilization and Crisis Clinician primarily focuses on promoting a safe and healthy environment, creating and maintaining relationships with guests at the Men’s Inn. The role involves supporting shelter staff in trauma minimization, responding to crises, and collaborating with clinical teams and other departments to ensure guest care. The clinician will work closely with staff and leadership at the Men’s Inn, as well as with PSI’s DMH MATCH Team and Behavioral Health Team, including the Housing Stabilization Team. Requirements
Education/Training:
Licensure as an LMHC or LICSW, or a Master’s degree in Social Work or related field. Experience: Minimum of three (3) years in Human Services Knowledge of trauma, addiction, recovery, and mental illness Understanding issues related to homelessness Skills in motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and de-escalation Preferred: Administering Narcan and CPR Knowledge of local resources Bilingual in English/Spanish/Haitian Creole Additional Details
