Acara Solutions seeks an Advanced Systems Engineer for our client in Scottsdale, AZ. As a systems engineer for Space Force MUOS, you\'ll be a cross-functional team member responsible for defining, developing, and sustaining enhancements to a live communication system. We provide warfighters with a familiar cellular phone-like service, allowing forces on the ground to communicate directly with others at a higher quality and much greater capacity than the current system allows. Required Skills / Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree in Systems Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics. Minimum of 5 years of experience with software and large solution programs, including both Hardware and Software. Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Systems Engineer on a complex software system. Preferred Skills / Qualifications
Master\'s Degree. Agile experience. Someone who understands DOD domain/programs well, has a demonstrated capability to think at a Systems Level, and has a growth mindset. Success in leading the systems development life cycle with proficiency in requirements management and system modeling tools. Creative thinker motivated to apply technical standards and methodologies to develop solutions. Collaborative team player who can provide technical leadership and position others for success. Good presentation and communication skills with experience in negotiation and the ability to meet challenging customer requirements with win-win solutions. Additional Information
