Overview
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide expert services within a K-12 school setting in New Haven, CT. This contract position supports students\' communication and language development two days per week during the current school year (CSY). Responsibilities
Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services tailored to students\' needs Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support comprehensive communication goals Conduct assessments and assist in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Utilize teletherapy tools as needed to expand service accessibility Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions Qualifications
CCC-SLP credential with certification of clinical competence Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare or school environments Familiarity with teletherapy techniques and platforms for service delivery Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or willingness to receive CF placements Strong interpersonal and communication skills conducive to the school setting Location
New Haven, Connecticut Schedule & Compensation
This role offers a part-time schedule (two days per week) with compensation ranging from $40.92 to $60.92. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
