Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable, and delivered on time. It consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices, and our customers throughout the total life cycle of our products—from conception to deactivation. Our primary focus is on product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability, System Safety, and Supportability. As part of this mission, Raytheon currently has an exciting opportunity for a Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) Engineer to help support our goal of making the world a safer place. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Tucson, AZ; Huntsville, AL; or Louisville, KY. What You Will Do

Review defects and failures, conducting trend analysis and impact assessments. Present to internal and external stakeholders at program meetings and Failure Review Boards (FRB). Lead failure investigations to root cause and corrective action (RCCA). Supporting the proposal process in developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for FRACAS work. Tracking Earned Value (EV) and providing accurate status on the schedule and budget for the FRACAS scope. Approximately 15% Domestic and International travel may be required. Qualifications You Must Have

Typically Requires: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience. Experience with reliability analysis, failure investigations, and/or root cause/corrective action (RCCA) Qualifications We Prefer

Experience with FRACAS Engineering Concepts including knowledge of reliability and maintainability. Experience presenting to Failure Review Boards (FRB). Experience with Defense manufacturing OR work on Autonomous programs/systems. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
