Ports and Marine Civil/Structural Engineer role at WSP in the U.S. Full-time position with offices in Irvine, San Diego, San Francisco, CA; Miami, FL; Portland, OR; Seattle, WA; Houston, TX. Join our Ports and Maritime Team to work on projects for port authorities, U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, terminal operators, contractors, and private entities. Your Impact

Perform civil/structural design for marine and upland components under supervision of senior ports and marine engineers Prepare technical written communications in the form of memoranda and reports Support managers in creating plans, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates in accordance with client requirements Collaborate with team to ensure work product meets scope, schedule, cost and quality requirements Perform design calculations in support of broader engineering activities Coordinate with cross-functional teams in executing project work Assist with work plan preparation and coordination of site work and code compliance Complete training on assigned tasks Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs Who You Are

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering 3–5 years of relevant post-education experience Familiarity with marine, port, and civil/structural engineering principles and design/build processes Familiar with relevant marine, port, and coastal construction codes, regulations, and compliance practices Analytical mindset with ability to exercise sound judgment Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engineering and non-engineering audiences Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic proficiency with technical writing, engineering software, spreadsheets, and related tools Experience with discipline-specific design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and adherence to company policies Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements Preferred Qualifications

Engineer in Training Certification Prior design experience Active participation in local professional practice organizations Experience in design of marine upland facilities Field investigation or construction support experience Hands-on design experience Commercial dive license (ADCI or DCBC) in addition to the above qualifications Benefits & Compensation

Compensation: Expected Salary (all locations):

$77,000 – $125,000
