Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact with clients for project activities
Develop and execute projects within budget, schedule, and contractual commitments
Manage all project activities according to the established schedule
Direct and coordinate the engineering design team and subcontractor activities
Establish project safety plans and ensure communication to all employees on the job
Qualifications (What is Required)
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Paper Science, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical) or equivalent technical experience
5+ years of experience within the paper converting industry
3+ years of project management experience within the paper converting industry
Prior experience with various contracting models such as time and materials, lump sum, and guaranteed maximum
Proficiency with MS Project
Preferred Qualifications (How to Stand Out)
10+ years of experience within the paper converting industry
Project Management Professional Certification or ability to obtain within 24 months of start date
Professional Engineer license
Experience leading proposal generation with or without a request for proposal
Familiarity with Primavera P6
