AH-Mercy has a lot to offer as Atrium's Musculoskeletal Institute (MSKI). Total Joint replacements and sports medicine are a large focus, with additional cases including General, Bariatric Center of Excellence, vascular, spine, urology and NORA (non-OR anesthesia). Same day procedures on pediatrics 8 years and up. Shift opportunities include days, afternoons, overnight call, with options of 8, 10, 12, or 24-hour shifts. Weekends and holidays are emergent/urgent cases only. Mercy's CRNAs are the airway team that respond to Code Blues and assist with A-line insertion overnight in the ICU. AH-Mercy is a Planetree Facility. Opportunity to participate in committees and teaching opportunities for varied allied health care learners as well as SRNAs from the CMC/UNCC Nurse Anesthesia Program & the University of Wake Forest School of Nurse Anesthesia. Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia services for MSKI cases including total joint replacements, sports medicine, general, bariatrics, vascular, spine, urology and NORA; same day procedures on pediatrics 8 years and up. Assist with airway management and intraoperative/ICU support as part of the Mercy airway team. Participate in committees and provide teaching opportunities for SRNAs and allied health learners. Qualifications
NC RN licensure required. Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia required. CRNA licensure required. BLS and ACLS/PALS from AHA required. About The Practice/Facility

It is a full-service community hospital specializing in senior care, complex foot and ankle surgery, hip and knee surgery, bariatric surgery and women's pelvic health. It manages 14,000 OR cases and 3,000 NORA cases per year, with heavy emphasis on orthopedics and capabilities across general, bariatrics, urology, neuro & ortho-spine, and vascular. Peds cases are scheduled as same-day procedures on children 8 and up. Location
