About the Opportunity/Position Highlights AH-Mercy offers a diverse caseload at Atrium’s Musculoskeletal Institute (MSKI), including Total Joint replacements, sports medicine, General surgery, Bariatric surgery (center of excellence), vascular, spine, urology, and NORA (non-OR anesthesia). Same-day procedures are performed on pediatric patients aged 8 and up. Shift options include days, afternoons, overnight call, with 8, 10, 12, or 24-hour shifts. Weekend and holiday shifts are for emergent/urgent cases only. Mercy’s CRNAs are part of the airway team responding to Code Blues and assisting with A-line insertions overnight in the ICU. AH-Mercy is a Planetree Designated Facility. Opportunities exist for participation in committees and teaching roles for allied health care learners, including SRNAs from the CMC/UNCC Nurse Anesthesia Program and Wake Forest School of Nurse Anesthesia. With over 100 years of service, Atrium Health Mercy provides compassionate, expert care, specializing in complex foot and ankle, hip and knee, bariatrics, and women’s pelvic health. It manages approximately 14,000 OR cases and 3,000 NORA cases annually, with a focus on orthopedics, general surgery, urology, neuro, ortho-spine, and vascular surgery. Pediatric cases are scheduled as same-day procedures for children aged 8 and up. Location/Area Atrium Health Mercy
