Position Purpose
The Media Specialist coordinates and supports the implementation of omni-channel media campaigns and tactics, including the execution and optimization of in-house digital media components. Responsibilities include implementing campaign objectives, strategies, and tactics, trafficking campaigns, reporting, and stewardship of media plans aligned with marketing goals. The role supports campaign activations and reporting across channels such as Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Nextdoor, Snapchat, and LinkedIn. Additionally, the position provides input and support for paid Test & Learn initiatives and is a key contributor to program tracking and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management (45%) : Manage components of digital media campaigns, including bidding, targeting, ad creation, analysis, and reporting. Support Test & Learn agendas.
Paid Media Management (40%) : Assist in omni-channel paid media planning, buying, and reporting for all programs and campaigns.
Stakeholder Management (15%) : Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including media and platform partners and agencies. Document and utilize best practices.
Direct Manager/Reports
Typically reports to the Manager, Paid Social.
No direct reports.
Travel Requirements
Less than 10% overnight travel expected.
Physical Requirements
Primarily sitting with occasional movement; rare lifting of light articles.
Working Conditions
Indoor, comfortable environment; infrequent unpleasant conditions.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be 18 or older.
Legally permitted to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with large digital platforms (Facebook, YouTube, etc.) and niche properties.
1+ years managing large paid digital budgets.
Experience with retail websites and analytics.
Understanding of digital marketing technical aspects.
Strong presentation and writing skills.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
Work Experience
At least 1 year.
