We’re looking for an
Art Director
to lead and elevate the creative vision of a fast-moving beauty brand. This role is both
hands-on
and leadership-focused—you’ll actively design, art direct, and manage projects, while also mentoring and guiding a team of four designers (Senior, Mid, Junior, and Packaging). What You’ll Do
Act as the Creative Director’s right hand, ensuring design quality and consistency across all channels Translate brand vision into briefs, moodboards, and final creative assets Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of four designers while fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment Provide constructive, actionable feedback that strengthens both the work and the team Partner with the Director of Creative Operations to keep projects on track and on schedule Lead omnichannel campaign development with a social-first mindset (TikTok, Instagram, Reels, emerging platforms) Concept and art direct photo and video shoots, from pre-production through post-production Own the creative direction for new product launches, including packaging, marketing assets, and go-to-market visuals Ensure creative output is culturally relevant, shareable, and optimized for engagement Build scalable systems—templates, guidelines, and toolkits—for consistent brand execution Collaborate with copywriters, marketers, and external partners to deliver cohesive creative solutions Ensure all files are production-ready, accurate, and polished for both print and digital channels Evolve the brand aesthetic in response to consumer insights and design trends Support the development of sales tools, retailer assets, and internal communications What We’re Looking For
5+ years in art direction, or brand creative (beauty or CPG experience) Proven on-set production experience (photo and video) Packaging design experience and understanding of packaging life cycles Strong website showcasing visual storytelling, campaigns, and brand work Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Figma and Canva skills, a plus Experience leading and mentoring creative teams Deep knowledge of social content and beauty design trends Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple fast-moving projects Excellent communicator and collaborator, with confidence presenting work Portfolio required - Strong website showcasing visual storytelling, campaigns, and brand work (website required; PDFs not accepted) Bonus Points
Experience scaling a brand from startup to national presence Passion for packaging innovation, materials, and sensory design 2D/3D rendering skills to bring packaging and merchandising concepts to life Knowledge of print finishes, color matching, and production specs Base pay range
