Position Summary

As a Meat Department Lead you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will model expertise in Meat and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations. What you\'ll do

Be a Team Leader : Supervises the team within the meat department to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club by communicating the goals of the department, executing company programs, adhering to policies, and being an advocate for the member, the associate, and the company; work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the members\' expectations. Be an Expert : Maintains in-depth knowledge of the business on the floor and backroom operations, product updates, and product specifications; ensures the meat department meets company and regulatory standards for quality, inventory, production, equipment usage, safety, sanitation, and compliance. Shares knowledge and prioritizes training for the team to understand item specifications and use approved equipment for high-volume products; engages with members to help them make the right protein selections. Be a Techie : Leverages digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilizes handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, and to adopt new tools. Be an Owner : Drives the business results with a commitment to operational excellence; maintains a neat, clean, and safe work area in the meat department; uses digital tools for forecasting, planning, and production; facilitates product inventory and ordering; ensures appropriate staffing levels and audit/compliance standards; ensures meat and seafood equipment and storage systems are in working order and merchandise is produced and displayed according to plan. for this position is $25.00 to $33.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Minimum Qualifications

6 months experience in a meat production department or 6 months experience supervising a team. Must be 18 years of age or older Preferred Qualifications
