Overview The Customer Data Analyst will lead and support the management, optimization, and modernization of customer master data and related processes across various business segments, including Retail, Wholesale/Distribution, and Healthcare Providers. This role is responsible for driving internal process improvements, collaborating cross-functionally, and leveraging technology to enhance customer master data workflows and business outcomes. The position works directly with Sales, Demand Planning, Distribution & Logistics, Marketing, Market Access, Finance, and IT teams to prioritize customer master data initiatives and support strategic goals. Responsibilities Manage the creation, maintenance, and quality of customer master data in SAP, Model N and other related systems ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.
Identify and implement process improvements, including automation and modernization of customer master data workflows.
Develop and deliver routine and ad-hoc reporting, dashboards, and actionable insights using technology platforms (Excel, Power BI, SQL, etc.) to support business decisions.
Support and lead projects related to customer master data migration, system upgrades, and process transformation.
Analyze operational needs, solve complex problems, and provide recommendations to support Sales, Demand Planning, and Executive Leadership.
Foster cross-functional collaboration, serving as a resource for translating business needs into technical solutions and building business acumen on data challenges.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Sales, Finance, Demand Planning, Distribution & Logistics, Marketing, Market Access, and IT.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls through regular audits and adherence to established policies and procedures.
Participate in meetings with IT and business partners to review system performance, address issues, and support continuous improvement.
Provide peer support, share knowledge, and assist Customer Account Analysts with critical questions or “fix on fail” solutions to prevent issues from delaying shipments.
Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that improve data quality, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Management, Information Systems, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in customer master data management, business analysis, or process improvement, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
Proficiency in SAP (Customer Master, OTC processes) and Model N are preferred.
Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI, and automation tools; experience with Crystal Reports, VBA, and Python is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive change and improve customer master data processes in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Experience Experience in influenza vaccine distribution or biopharma commercial operations.
Knowledge of healthcare provider customer master data and customer segmentation.
Compensation and Benefits The expected base salary range for this position at hiring is $66,000 – $78,000. Individual base salary for a successful candidate is determined by qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies and other relevant factors. In addition to base salary, total compensation for this role may also include incentive compensation. CSL Seqirus employees that work at least 30 hours per week are eligible for benefits effective day 1. Our benefits are designed to support the needs of our employees at every stage of their life.
