Boeing is seeking a
Structures Test Engineering Manager
for the Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) team in
Berkeley, MO . The selected candidate will be responsible for testing and verifying the structural design of Air Dominance, Phantom Works, and Weapons products, with a focus on continuous improvement, quality, efficiency, and schedule performance. This role emphasizes developing and empowering people and collaborating with existing Structures Test managers in the structural test labs. Position Responsibilities
Manage employees performing engineering and technical activities in Structural Test and Evaluation Engineering, including but not limited to: Test Conceptual Design, Test Detailed Design, Test Planning, Test Control & Conduct, Manufacturing Engineering, Instrumentation Design, Install & Checkout, Data Processing, and Test Reporting. Develop and execute staffing and resource plans related to Structures Test activities at the team level. Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports. Be responsible and accountable for cost, schedule, and technical performance while understanding and coordinating programmatic aspects. Develop and engage employees through coaching, mentoring, performance assessment, and identifying growth opportunities that align with individual and company needs. Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to change and ambiguity. Basic Qualifications (Required)
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited program. 3+ years of experience leading or managing cross-functional or cross-organizational teams within engineering and/or test. 3+ years of experience in hardware systems test or design, lab testing, or systems engineering. 3+ years of experience developing test designs from system-level requirements, test planning, execution, and reporting results. Experience in test and evaluation engineering. Preferred Qualifications
Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). An active clearance within the past 24 months is considered active. 5+ years of experience leading integrated teams to perform complex structural and fatigue life testing on military aircraft. Experience in Structural Test Engineering and with test & lab execution. Experience with the Test Engineering lifecycle: requirements, design, documentation/reporting, and execution. Awareness of instrumentation, test control, and data processes/procedures for structures testing. Experience with CAM and project management. Other Requirements

Pay is based on experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations. Summary pay range:
