Leads the development, implementation, and maintenance of a disaster recovery program, including policies, procedures, and plans.
Conduct Business Impact Analyses to identify critical business functions and assess potential impacts of disasters as well as business requirements for RTO and RPO.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in business and Technology to ensure alignment of DR strategies with organizational objectives.
Ensure coordination of DR efforts between MSPs where needed.
Oversee and participate in the development, documentation, maintenance and testing of continuity, technical and application readiness plans.
Clearly communicate maturity of the overall DR program and Kraft Heinz readiness to respond.
Educate staff on emergency procedures, recovery plans, and best practices for business continuity.
Convey complex topics and strategies into consumable and actionable initiatives based on respective stakeholders.
Ensure backup and recovery strategies are aligned to defined RTO/RPOs.
Lead and coordinate disaster recovery testing, simulations, and failover exercises across systems and platforms.
Qualifications (Recipe for Success)
7+ years of relevant IT roles including DR, BC, infrastructure, systems or IT Security.
Technical proficiency with strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and disaster recovery techniques.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
3+ years of DR or equivalent experience.
Experience documenting and testing DR plans in a large enterprise.
Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, collaborate effectively, and build strong relationships.
Ability to influence others including peers, third-parties and executives.
Ability to quickly understand abstract technical concepts.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including formal report writing experience.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, and GCP) and hybrid IT environments.
Strong documentation, project management, and analytical skills.
Familiarity with real-world disaster recovery outages and governance of recovery procedures for each.
Benefits and Compensation
New Hire Base Salary Range: $118,400.00 - $148,000.00. This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents. The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on geographic region, knowledge, skills, and experience.
