Job Summary: We are seeking a results-oriented Market Development Manager (Lead Generation) to build and scale our outbound prospecting efforts across multiple channels: cold email, LinkedIn outreach. This role is critical for driving top-of-funnel growth, creating qualified leads, and supporting our sales team with a steady pipeline. The ideal candidate is strategic, data-driven, and excels at outreach automation and personalization.

Responsibilities

Define ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and buyer personas in collaboration with Sales and Marketing.

Develop multi-channel outreach strategies combining cold email, LinkedIn messaging, and cold calls.

Set performance targets (KPIs) such as open rates, response rates, qualified leads, booked meetings, call-to-meeting ratios.

Lead Sourcing & List Building

Identify target industries, companies, and contacts using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo.io, etc.

Build, verify, and maintain clean lead lists; ensure data accuracy.

Segment leads by vertical, role, industry, etc., to tailor outreach sequences.

Email Automation & Cold Email Campaigns

Choose and configure email outreach tools (e.g., HubSpot, Bullhorn, etc.).

Build email sequences including follow-ups; A/B test subject lines, message content, send times.

Monitor deliverability (bounce rates, spam rates), open rates, reply rates; adjust to improve performance.

Personalize messaging referencing prospect’s company, role, or other relevant info.

Track engagement on LinkedIn (connections accepted, replies) and nurture relationships.

Automation & Tools

Set up and optimize workflow automations - email triggers, follow-ups, reminders, lead scoring, etc.

Use CRM to log all outreach activities (emails, LinkedIn, calls), manage lead status, handoffs.

Integrate tools (email, LinkedIn, calling) to ensure seamless lead capture and tracking.

Reporting & Optimization

Track and report metrics weekly/monthly: number of leads, conversion rates, response rates, deliverables.

Analyze which channels, messages, cadences are performing best; iterate to improve ROI.

Collaborate with Sales to ensure lead quality and feedback loops.

Required Qualifications

3-5+ years in B2B outbound lead generation, sales development, or similar roles.

Proven experience with cold email campaigns, including setting up automated email sequences.

Strong LinkedIn outreach experience, with knowledge of Sales Navigator, InMail, and sequence design.

Cold calling experience: confident in phone outreach, comfortable speaking with decision-makers.

Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive) and outreach automation tools.

Excellent copywriting skills for emails and LinkedIn messages; ability to write with clarity and personalization.

Analytical mindset: comfortable working with metrics, running A/B tests, optimizing based on data.

Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to handle multiple campaigns/channels simultaneously.

Nice-to-Have

Experience with lead scoring and nurturing.

Familiarity with outbound email deliverability best practices.
