The Boeing Company is looking for

Integration & Test (I&T) Software Engineers

to join our Space Mission Systems (SMS) Ground Mission Management (GMM) team with our

Global Satellite Configuration and Control Equipment (GSCCE)

program in

Colorado Springs, CO .

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Associate, Experienced and Senior Level Software Engineers. As a member of the GSCCE team, you will be involved with updating and modernizing the global military satellite communications (MILSATCOM) ground system that will manage the Boeing-built Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) satellites Payloads for all F1-F12 satellites. You will be involved in the entire product development lifecycle, from conceptualization and development to the maintenance and support of the delivered system for our customers.

Position Responsibilities

Fully competent in core I&T skills, contribute to effective producibility of designs, cost, and repeatable approaches while managing schedule constraints.

Support and execute test cases and scenarios to validate software functionality, performance, and safety, while identifying and reporting defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities; develop test plans and documentation.

Support trade studies, performance analyses, risk and opportunity assessments.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.

Participate in verification plan development and validation, capturing how program requirements will be verified, including identification of key test artifacts essential for verification.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, document findings, and provide feedback.

Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to review performance issues, identify root causes, and develop solutions to ensure optimal performance.

Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code within the existing codebase, ensuring alignment with established architecture and coding standards.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

2+ years of proven experience performing software integration, test, validation, and verification

2+ years of experience with Web Service integrations (REST / SOAP APIs)

2+ years of experience with coding, debugging and development

2+ years of experience with software integration and end-to-end testing methodologies

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

Active Secret clearance

5+ years of experience for senior level consideration

3+ years of experience for experienced level consideration

Experience with complex systems containing many integrated components

Experience with using and/or managing Jenkins (or other) CI/CD pipeline

Experience with supporting program gates such as SRR, PDR and CDR

Experience with verifying and performing analyses of Technical Performance Measures (TPMs)

Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS, JIRA, ClearCase/ClearQuest)

Travel Up to 10%

The specific programs and options available to any given employee may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range / Associate: $85,000 – $115,000

Summary pay range / Experienced: $104,550 – $141,450

Summary pay range / Senior: $122,400 - $165,600
