Overview Join to apply for the HR Coordinator role at FreshRealm . This role is based onsite at our San Clemente, CA facility. The base salary range for this role is $68,640 - $73,000. Responsibilities Support HR functions at a dynamic food manufacturing facility by executing key HR administrative processes, supporting employee programs, and assisting with recruiting and onboarding activities. Under the guidance of the Sr. Human Resources Manager, partner with operations leadership and staffing agencies to support workforce needs and ensure a positive employee experience. Recruiting & Onboarding Assist with recruiting efforts for hourly and contingent roles. Coordinate candidate communications, interviews, background checks, and onboarding activities. Support agency coordination to ensure timely and accurate labor fulfillment. Facilitate new hire orientation and training logistics. HR Operations & Administrative Support Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data. Assist in the administration of HR programs, including benefits, leave of absence tracking, timekeeping, and employee documentation. Support compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable employment laws. Employee Experience & Engagement Answer routine HR questions and provide resources to employees. Support engagement activities, recognition programs, and culture-building events. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and respect. Policy & Compliance Assist with adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws. Support reporting, audits, and maintaining required documentation. Assist with investigations and compliance tracking as needed. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnership Collaborate with operations, EHS, maintenance, and other teams to support workforce initiatives. Assist HR leadership in implementing workforce strategies aligned with operational needs. Educational Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with at least 6 months of HR internship or entry-level experience OR 2–5 years of professional experience with exposure to HR functions. Experience supporting a warehouse, manufacturing, or hourly workforce is strongly preferred. Basic understanding of employment laws and HR best practices. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning new HR systems. Employee pay will vary based on qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location.
