Manpower of Waynesboro is currently seeking Polishers. Prefer candidates with have experience in buffing and polishing and/or grinding various aluminum metal parts. Must have a willingness to learn and be reliable. Polishers are responsible for: · Polishing, buffing, and finishing metal or steel articles to remove excess metal or surface defects · Selecting belt or wheel according to grain size, type or finish specified · Examining and feeling surface of metal to detect defects, such as dents, scratches, or breaks in metal · Ensuring strong attention to detail to ensure a high level of visual quality parts QUALIFICATIONS: · Previous buffing and polishing experience a plus · Aluminum boating parts knowledge is helpful · Superior attention to detail · Good organizational skills · Ability to lift 75-100 pounds consistently · Ability to stand, bend, twist and reach throughout 10-hour shift · Positive attitude and team player Some overtime may be required. Pay may increase based on experience. Possible permanent hire with a good company!
