Post Doctoral Scholar – Neurology – UHealth – University of Miami
Position Overview
The University of Miami & UHealth Neurology Department invites applications for a Full‑time Post Doctoral Scholar. The scholar will conduct mentored research in Alzheimer’s Disease and related disorders, contribute to training of trainees, and advance independent scientific projects within a NIH‑funded training program.
Key Responsibilities
Design, plan, and execute independent research experiments related to AD/ADRD.
Collect, analyze, and interpret pilot data to support new and competing renewal applications.
Prepare technical manuscripts, grant reports, and conference presentations.
Supervise undergraduate and graduate students and conduct literature reviews.
Present findings at local and national scientific conferences.
Adhere to University and unit‑level policies and safeguard University assets.
Qualifications and Requirements
MD, DMD, DVM, PharmD, or Ph.D. in a health‑related science.
Strong interest in developing a career in AD/ADRD research.
Proficiency in data collection, organization, and analysis.
Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
Sound judgment in making critical decisions.
