The University of Miami/UHealth Department of SCCC has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Post-Doctoral Associate to work at the UHealth Medical Campus in Miami, FL 33146.
The Post Doctoral Associate performs scientific research and studies under the supervision of managing staff. The role also involves contributing to the scientific community through research publications.
Core Job Functions
Conduct research on assigned areas of study.
Prepare research reports and technical papers for publication.
Investigate the feasibility of applying scientific principles and theories.
Maintain knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories.
Develop analytical models and provide solutions to support decisions.
Adhere to university policies and safeguard assets.
Department Specific Functions The research focuses on grief, bereavement, end-of-life care, and psycho-oncology. The Post Doctoral Associate will contribute to the Center for the Advancement of Bereavement Care and Dr. Lichtenthal’s research lab.

Core Qualifications
Ph.D. required.
No prior experience required.
Skills in data collection, organization, and analysis.
Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve problems.
