Overview As a Top Secret cleared Service Desk Support Specialist for this program, you will be working in an organization whose mission is to develop and operate the best possible software for critical national security enterprise applications. This organization leverages SCRUM, SAFE Agile methodology, and strong DevOps practices.
You will provide support to application users, identify, research, and resolve technical problems, and ensure all phases of help desk support are coordinated, monitored, logged, tracked, and resolved appropriately. This position is contingent upon award.
Responsibilities
Provide support to end users on a variety of issues.
Identify, research, and resolve technical problems.
Respond to telephone calls, email, and personnel requests for technical support.
Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution.
Ensure all phases of help desk support are properly coordinated and resolved appropriately.
Serve as the first point of contact for hardware/software PC and printer issues.
Analyze performance results and recommend major changes affecting project growth and success.
Lead major technology assignments; may supervise others.
A Typical Day
Receive and triage user-reported issues.
Resolve issues and service desk tickets efficiently, offering step-by-step guidance and support, and coordinate with other groups as appropriate.
Escalate complex issues with detailed descriptions to higher-tier groups.
Document each interaction.
Track and manage operational metrics.
Requirements
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree (or additional years of experience may substitute).
Preferred
Business Analysis and Project Management experience.
Agile principles experience.
AWS certifications.
Clearance Required Top Secret with SCI Eligibility.
Salary The annual starting salary for this position is between $92,400 – $124,000.
