SAP Basis Platform Lead
Builders FirstSource is seeking a highly skilled SAP platform lead to join a dynamic team and support a multi-year business transformation focused on SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud.
Base Pay Range $110,025.00/yr – $183,375.00/yr
Responsibilities
Lead collaborative development of application strategy aligned with IT goals and SAP roadmap.
Manage SAP BASIS administration across installation, configuration, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Administer SAP BTP services, ensuring seamless integration and operation of cloud applications.
Govern runbooks, system operation procedures, and release plans for SAP applications.
Serve as subject matter expert for business on complex systems and coordinate cross‑team work.
Identify service delivery gaps and implement improvement plans.
Provide expert leadership and training to system administrators on new technologies and their impact.
Technical Duties
Maintain SAP systems and monitor system performance, applying patches and upgrades.
Resolve technical support issues for SAP applications and minimize downtime.
Implement security measures to protect SAP systems and data.
Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures.
Collaborate closely with IT teams, developers, and business users to support SAP projects.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
10+ years of experience managing SAP platforms or equivalent combination of education and experience.
In‑depth expertise in technical and operational support of multiple SAP components and integration with OS, DB, server, network layers.
Experience administering SAP BASIS, BTP, and system monitoring, and strong knowledge of change management, SOX, and ITIL processes.
Strong technical knowledge in backup & recovery, system refreshes, high availability, and disaster recovery scenarios.
