MKTG Sports + Entertainment is looking for a dynamic and strategic Manager, Sponsorship Consulting to join our team and help advise clients on the best partnership execution, athlete/talent management, and strategic presentations.

We are looking for a accomplished marketer with in-depth NFL experience to implement strategic, integrated brand marketing and activation campaigns with our roster of Fortune 500 clients. You will partner with a team of experienced marketers in developing and measuring performance of NFL activation programs. Successful employees will approach unexpected challenges quickly and creatively. This is a hybrid opportunity based in our Charlotte, NC office and you will report into the VP, Sponsorship Consulting.

You have the following attributes:

In-depth knowledge of and ability to navigate the NFL ecosystem

Experience working with athletes and influencers

Manage, collaborate, and support team members from different offices around the country

Experience with the broader sponsorship landscape is helpful (NBA, NFL, MLB, NCAA, and F1)

Knowledge of and experience with the full marketing mix, social media, content marketing, influencer approaches, and marketing promotions

An internal drive to bring client and organizational value, even in fluid or undefined environments

Generate creative solutions to business and marketing challenges facing our clients

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a team of professionals with an ability to inspire best-in-class work and cultivate careers for rising stars

Develop client solutions and present to internal and external client team members

Establish trusted relationships with client team and identify potential revenue growth opportunities

Work with sanctioning bodies and rightsholders to help develop outstanding marketing partnerships

Write and develop important documents including POV documents to client-ready status using Microsoft Suite of products which include Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Support negotiations with local and national rightsholders on behalf of clients, securing win-win agreements that surpass client expectations

Play an active role in the agency new business activities including brainstorming, presentation writing and presentation delivery

Tentpole event and select meeting travel is required

Qualifications

At least 5 years directly related experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience working within the NFL landscape

BA/BS in Marketing related field

The annual salary range for this position is $59,000-$96,025. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
