Il Buco Restaurant Group is seeking an

experienced and dynamic Maitre D

for its three‑star restaurant, Alimentari & Vineria. In this role you will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for creating a positive first impression and managing the flow of guests. Your primary goal is to maintain a positive dining atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities

Guest Relations Reservation Management Table Management Front of house operations Train other hosts, ensuring they adhere to hospitality standards Duties and Responsibilities: Arrive to work every day with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and prepared for the shift. Know the table numbers and position numbers in all sections of the restaurant. Perform in accordance with the service guidelines of the restaurant at all times. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of Resy booking systems. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our reservation policies and procedures, and the hours for all spaces in the building. Maintain general knowledge of nearby landmarks, transportation, and other il Buco properties. Cultivate a fluency in verbiage for the waitlist, our reservation policies and procedures, as well as voicemails. Monitor restaurant and kitchen flow regarding timeliness during service and assist when and where necessary. Report all guest complaints to management immediately and follow up with the guest to ensure their needs have been met. Handle gift certificate transactions, fill out all pertinent documentation, and present to the guest. Execute payment transactions for guests throughout the restaurant as needed. Build a thorough knowledge of the food and beverage items and their preparation available in all active spaces in the building. Build a thorough knowledge of our service standards and style as detailed by the Employee Handbook. Treat all areas of the restaurant with respect. Contribute to the cleanliness and organization of the space at all times. Act in a professional manner and represent il Buco Alimentari & Vineria graciously whether you are in house, traveling, or at another local establishment. Physical Demands & Essential Functions

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally. Standing for 4 to 8 hours per shift with occasional climbing, bending and reaching. Ability to work in a kitchen/restaurant environment with varying temperatures. Fluency in both written and spoken English required, where essential for effective job performance. Professional appearance and grooming required, in accordance with Company standards outlined in the Employee Handbook. Qualifications

2-3 years experience in a high-volume, fine-dining restaurant. Flexible schedule: Ability to work AM, PM, Weekends and Holidays. Experience with Resy, or comparable reservation system. Excellent communication and problem solving skills. Able to maintain a professional, yet welcoming and friendly demeanor at all times. Please provide 2 professional references when applying.
