Carson, CA Contract to Hire Base pay range:

$23.00/hr - $25.00/hr This range is provided by LHH. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Position Summary LHH is seeking a Human Resources Admin Assistant/Receptionist to provide daily administrative support to our client's HR Director and serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers. This role ensures a welcoming environment and supports HR operations. Responsibilities

Provide high-level administrative support to the HR Director, including calendar management, document reconciliation, scanning, copying, and faxing Draft and prepare correspondence (written and electronic) for the HR Director Support research and special projects as requested Prepare reports, organize meetings, and respond to phone inquiries for the HR department Coordinate and prepare agendas for monthly staff meetings Monitor background review notifications and assist with document gathering Support monthly New Hire Orientation (room reservations, check-in, lunch/snack prep, HR swag) Run monthly divisional reports (e.g., turnover, new hires) Notify staff of yearly training requirements and track completion Enter updates into the HRIS system and assign/track HR trainings Provide backup support for employment verifications and government agency requests Assist with seasonal hire processing and department mail distribution Greet and welcome all visitors, ensuring they feel valued and are directed appropriately Answer incoming phone calls and route them to the correct department Manage reception operations and visitor/new hire badge access Monitor and maintain conference room reservations Perform other duties as assigned to support team and operations Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required; AA degree preferred 2–3 years of administrative support experience Previous experience supporting a Human Resources department is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and Adobe Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task Effective communication skills and high integrity Ability to maintain confidential information Regular, on-time attendance is essential Equal Opportunity Employer
