$95,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr Position Overview

As a

Controls Systems Engineer

at Hanley Energy, you will play a pivotal role in

enhancing the efficiency, reliability, and automation

of mission‑critical infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, programming, and commissioning advanced

PLC/HMI

and

SCADA systems , as well as supporting the integration of automation solutions for multinational clients. Key Responsibilities

Design, program, and commission

PLC/HMI control systems

for industrial and data center environments Develop and implement

SCADA systems

to monitor and optimize automation performance Create and modify

electrical, network, and software system drawings Conduct

testing, troubleshooting, and validation

of automation and control systems Prepare comprehensive

technical documentation

including URS, FDS, FAT/SAT, and O&M manuals Perform

risk assessments

and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Collaborate with

project managers, electricians, engineers, and technicians

to ensure system integration and project success Provide

technical support

during installation, commissioning, and post‑delivery phases Train and mentor

junior engineers and technicians , fostering continuous improvement within the team Stay current with

emerging technologies, industry standards, and automation trends Manage

project schedules and budgets

to achieve on‑time, within‑scope delivery Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in

Electrical Engineering, Controls, Automation, or related field Proven experience in

PLC and SCADA system design and programming Proficiency in

RSLogix 500/5000 ,

FactoryTalk View SE , and

Ignition SCADA

(preferred) Strong knowledge of

industrial communication networks and protocols

(Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc.) Ability to

read, interpret, and develop electrical schematic drawings Experience with

automation system integration, testing, and commissioning Excellent

analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving

skills Strong

interpersonal and communication

skills in fluent English Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross‑functional, global teams Company Benefits
