Review project specifications, interface with clients, and assist in developing scope of work documentation (knowledge of URS, FDS, DDS in pharma is a plus) Develop detailed engineering deliverables including BOMs, electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and I/O drawings Design and implement PLC, HMI, SCADA, and Historian programs with clear structure and documentation Configure and test industrial communication networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus/TCP, Profibus, Profinet, OPC-UA) Lead FAT and SAT processes, and provide on-site startup/commissioning support (occasional overnight travel required) Maintain project schedules and budgets, manage scope changes, and support cost control and documentation Collaborate with internal fabrication teams, electricians, and contractors to ensure compliance with NEC, UL508A, NFPA 70/79, and customer specifications Prepare and present technical documentation, validation test plans, and SOPs to support regulatory and quality requirements Provide ongoing system support, troubleshooting, and upgrades as needed Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 5+ years of experience in control systems design and integration Proficiency with major automation platforms, especially Rockwell Automation (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, FactoryTalk View, FactoryTalk Historian), Wonderware (AVEVA), and Inductive Automation Ignition Familiarity with robotic integration, motion control, and instrumentation (pneumatics, VFDs, sensors, servo systems) preferred Ability to read, create, and modify electrical schematics, panel layouts, and P&IDs Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols Knowledge of industry codes and standards (NEC, NFPA 70E, UL508A, NFPA 79, ISA) Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, chemicals, or plastics is a plus Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and hold a valid driver's license Benefits
