Why This Role Is Mission-Critical You’ll own the day-to-day reality of building and executing GEB’s sales strategy - driving new business, strengthening relationships with existing customers, and ensuring that our solutions reach the partners who need them most. If you’re energized by growth, strategy, and closing deals in complex markets while building a winning team, this is your role.
What You’ll Do Commercial Leadership Lead all sales operations across customer acquisition to introduce new services, account management, and business development. Provide insights into market trends, customer feedback, and growth strategy. Ensure sales KPIs are met or exceeded.
Team Development & Accountability Build and lead a high-performing sales team, with a focus on new business and customer growth as well as customer retention and outreach. Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and relentless customer focus. Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and development planning for all sales staff.
Market Expansion & Process Improvement Identify and pursue new market opportunities in waste recovery. Implement structured sales processes, pipeline management, and CRM best practices. Partner with the Director of Organizational Excellence to align sales processes with company-wide systems (CRM/ERP). Contribute to pricing strategies, proposals, and contracts to maximize efficiency and consistency.
Customer Success & Partnerships Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive relationship management and rapid issue resolution. Collaborate with operations and logistics to ensure seamless service delivery. Develop strategic partnerships with industry leaders to strengthen market positioning.
Revenue Growth & Strategic Insight Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and services. Monitor sales KPIs and provide accurate reporting as needed. Contribute to brand development/awareness and thought leadership in the waste recovery market.
Must-Haves 10+ years in sales leadership, preferably in manufacturing, energy, logistics, or waste services. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Experience managing a high-performing sales team and building structure in fast-growth settings. Strong understanding of CRM systems, pipeline management, and key sales KPIs. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Bonus Points Background in renewable fuels, waste recovery, or sustainability-focused industries. Familiarity with compliance-driven sales (LCFS, RFS, feedstock pathways). Experience with ERP/CRM integration and sales automation tools.
