Job Title: Cleaning/Sanitation Assistant
Job Description
Join our team as a Cleaning/Sanitation Assistant and take on a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for wiping down machinery and lab equipment, as well as performing various cleaning tasks throughout the facility. Your work will ensure a clean and safe environment for all employees.
Responsibilities
Wipe down machinery and lab equipment.
Perform cleaning tasks throughout the manufacturing plant, including floors, drains, walls, exteriors, utility sinks, hand washing sinks, stairs, handrails, and catch fans.
Clean the exterior of gearboxes and equipment framework.
Scrub floors, mop, and apply foaming agents.
Conduct COP (Cleaning Out of Place) cleaning inspections.
Handle and work with chemicals safely, understanding the associated risks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in a manufacturing plant is required.
Prior cleaning or janitorial experience is essential.
Ability to work independently is required.
Shift
6:00am - 3:00pm OR 8:00am - 5:00pm
Work Environment
The role is based in a loud but clean food manufacturing plant. You will play a critical role in managing spills and preventing contamination, ensuring the safety and quality of our products.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr.
