Litigation Secretary

Location: Downtown Santa Rosa, CA (Fully On-Site)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Compensation: $85,000 – $100,000 annually

Join a prestigious and well-established law firm located in the heart of downtown Santa Rosa. Known for its excellence in commercial and employment litigation, the firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Secretary to support a team of high-performing attorneys in a dynamic, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level litigation support to attorneys in both state and federal courts
  • Draft, format, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondence
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including e-filing in state and federal courts
  • Generate and manage Tables of Authorities (TOA) and Tables of Contents (TOC)
  • Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, and schedules
  • Organize and maintain client files, both electronically and in hard copy
  • Coordinate with court staff, clients, and opposing counsel as needed
  • Assist with trial preparation, document production, and case management

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Litigation Secretary in a law firm setting
  • Strong background in commercial and employment litigation
  • Proficiency in state and federal court rules and e-filing procedures
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and legal document management systems
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skillsCompetitive salary: $85,000 – $100,000, depending on experience
